Field Trial Results

E-Mail UsBurton's Kennels provides year round training for all breeds of dogs. We specialize in pointing breeds and retrievers. Field Trial training and campaigning is available year round for German Shorthairs. We will take your dog to over 25 trials in Oregon, California, Nevada, Washington and Idaho. Hunting dogs are trained on over 10,000 acres in three different locations (depending on the season). Our home base is in the foothills of the Lassen Mountains. This location gives us access to a large variety of training grounds. The dogs become familiar with different kinds of cover and terrain. We mainly train with chuckers but also use other game birds. You are welcome to come and check out our kennel, training grounds and meet us.
